Womens Self Defense
Can you really defend yourself? What would you do if you were grabbed from behind or even worse choked! How would you respond to being pulled into a car or van? Do you carry pepper spray and would you be able to use it if you were struck? These are real world scenarios that could happen to any woman in this day and age.
3 Treasures Tai Chi offers women’s self defense classes to businesses, hospitals and private groups of women who want to feel safer in their day to day lives. Laoshi Michelle has had numerous years of experience working with volatile groups. She has worked as a Correctional Guard, a Mental Health Technician on a mental health floor and with violent juveniles at a behavioral management school. Laoshi Michelle has also trained in other martial arts such as jujitsu and karate.
THIS CLASS IS NOT DESIGNED TO TEACH YOU MARTIAL ARTS!
Instead this class is designed to give you the necessary tools to deescalate or escape bad situations. What you will get is the awareness and the techniques to realistically defend yourself if you find yourself in harms way.
The class covers critical lessons for being more safe, overcoming the victim mentality and surviving a real world street attack. Be more confident, learn how to read and respond towards aggression in others. It also covers how to deal with the intimidation factor that many women feel when in a bad situation.
THIS CLASS IS NOT A LECTURE! THIS IS FULL HANDS ON TRAINING. Other subjects included using everyday items for self-defense and the use of Kubaton (self defense key chain).
